If this exceptional reflection of reality in our community doesn't inspire the Council members to a new and more rational level of problem solving...there may be no hope for them. Thank you, Jason.

I appreciate Jason's response and his repeated use of the word "hope ". When hope is not given credence and appropriation as necessary and deserved, we end up with the ashes of possibility instead of a clear framework for improvement. Thank you, Jason.

While that pothole looks terrible it's not in a city road. Katy Drive is a private road. The city couldn't fix that pothole even if we wanted to. I don't think this affects your general point at all (there are definitely plenty of other examples including the other ones you listed), it's just a unique case.
