Hang in there. I’m thinking the Kansas people are tired of this crap and there willI be some big changes next election. Also, Cindy Holscher is working on a bill which will allow Kansas citizens to put things into law by way of referendum. You might talk to her about it.
What is most troubling about this is that same line of logic could criminalize or provide probable cause to search those carrying narcan, something I do since losing my little cousin to an overdose years ago. To assume that intervening in a potential overdose to save someone’s life or give doctors the information they need to do the same is akin to encouraging drug use is simply wrong. Would these same folks want probable cause to search those carrying a life jacket on a boat? Under this logic that would demonstrate criminal intent to operate a boat recklessly or to drown someone.
Shatterproof is a national advocacy organization with local board members which has been active in state level issues like this, and which my family supports. Perhaps we can bring this issue to their attention?
I have read Jason's letter and viewed the video regarding the total disregard of the unanimous approval of HB2390 and replacing it with a completely irrelevant SB6 . It appears that the Kansas Senate is being run by a group of legislators trying to blunt the will of the citizens of the State of Kansas. The woman that is running the Senate session appears to have no conception of how a public meeting is supposed to be run. Senator Steffen appears to have not had enough caffeine or whatever to contemplate what is even going on at the session.
Until one of their own dies…..not sure they will understand what others have gone through. Please, don’t give up hope.

Thank you for taking the time to keep the public informed on what is going on!
Republicans cannot govern, we are a Country of living proof of that.
Jason, another young man's death in the KC Star, yesterday I believe. Potential witness for you.

Steffen is trying to get revenge on the excellent Reno co health dpt. during covid. They showed him up!
Maybe if you name it the "Mark Steffen saves young lives" bill. It's all about him!
Wonder why he went into the medical field? I see nothing from him that shows concerns for others. I'm sorry!
